Your team may field UP TO EIGHT players as long as your TOTAL point count does not exceed 13. The list of available players for the
event is a subset of the list of players who will play in the tournament. Most of the club professionals and some of the lesser players
are missing. The list that can be reached from the link above includes all of the players that you may use in the pool. Of course, no
player can be used more than once in a single entry. We use a special email address of psmisterbill@gmail.com for major pools in
order to keep pool emails separate from our regular stuff. There is limited time to make corrections so fill out your entries with care.

ENTRY FEE is $20. We will pay $300 for the best score made each day. In the event of ties for the daily prize, each winning team
will be guaranteed at least $100. We will have a $300 "CARLOS" award for the entry that finishes last overall among those making
the cut. We will pay ten places overall at the end of the tournament. We will pay set amounts of $700, $500, $400, $300, and
$200 for 6th through 10th overall. Those set awards total $3600. After deducting that $3600, the CARLOS, and the daily prizes
from the prize pool, we will divide the remainder with percentages of 50%, 20%, 14%, 10%, and 6% for the first five places. (The
minimum award for 5th place will be $800). Winnings may be rounded up or down to a multiple of $20 to simplify payment
instructions and I may add a small amount to a daily payoff to divide it evenly among tied entrants.
•
CONTEST will be combined BEST THREE SCORES, relative to par. If you do not have THREE players making the cut, you are
eliminated for the final two rounds of the tournament.
•
Entries to the pool are submitted by completing a Google Sheets entry form. Players who have established a good payment
history will be sent an email with a link to a form where you will enter your own players. Those emails will go out before Monday
afternoon of the tournament week when we have the Google Doc page ready to accept entries. The link can also be found on
the home page at misterbill.org

There will be fields where you put in identifying information for your entry and a series of dropdown lists for the possible eight
players you can include in your entry. The dropdown menus and the pdf list of players contain all of the players available to use in
the tournament. Those are the only players you can use. If you are using fewer than eight players, please leave the word "None"
in the unused spaces. After you have filled out your form, hit "Submit". If your entry was accepted, you will see a message that
confirms the acceptance; otherwise, you will be returned to the entry page with any errors or missing fields noted. Repeat this
process for as many entries as you wish. Click on the (lengthy) link on the acceptance page to display another form and proceed
with your multiple entries
•
Note that there is no automatic verification that your selected players don't exceed 13 points or that you have duplicated players
within an entry. We will catch that at a later point in the process. So, be very careful about your point values. We will send an
email back showing what we received for all submissions until near deadline time.
•
We will leave the entry form live until at least 9:30 pm PDT on the Wednesday night preceding the Thursday tournament start.
NOTE: It is especially important to get entries in early for the British Open as play begins at around 10:30 pm Wednesday PDT.
We'll put all of the entries we have received at that time out at the website before the first tee time. I may add entries that arrive
by email after deadline but don't count on it. Note that once an entry has been submitted on the entry form, you cannot alter it
electronically. Any changes you wish or corrections that we require of you must be done by email to psmisterbill@gmail.com.
PLEASE use the entry form for your original entries. Email submissions should be limited to newcomers who have been approved
to join the pool, players who haven't entered recently, or those of you have tried the entry form and are having problems with it.
Correction emails will be accepted up until tee time on Thursday.
•
The link to view all entries will be sent out as early as possible. It is strongly recommended that you submit your entries as early
as possible to allow time for corrections. We sincerely hope this method continues to work out well; it minimizes errors of
commission or omission on our parts...and saves us a lot of work.
•
Some entries are submitted that do not add to 13 points. If it is noticed before the deadline, we will email you about the
discrepancy. If it is not corrected by the time play begins, we will do the following: entries adding to less than 13 points will play
as is; entries adding to more than 13 points will be brought down to 13 (or as close to it and below 13 as possible) by deleting the
last player in the order submitted who gets the entry to 13 or less. Entries will be voided and not charged in cases where player
withdrawal prior to teeing off reduces the entry to less than the minimum three players. Substitutions are allowed only if you
notify us before the start of play.
•
Do not send money in advance unless you are instructed to do so. You will be given mailing instructions for your payments after
the tournament.
•
We'll be around throughout each tournament week if there are any other questions.
